Seeking an experienced SaaS Sales Manager with 5+ years in enterprise software sales. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing the end-to-end sales process, building client relationships, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Identify market opportunities, develop strategic plans, and prioritize initiatives to drive growth.
  • Financial Management & Budgeting
    • Develop and manage budgets and financial models to monitor costs and revenue streams.
    • Analyze financial performance, provide forecasts, and recommend actionable insights for improvement.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
    • Identify bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and resources.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
    • Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate information sharing, project management, and issue resolution.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics (e.g., revenue growth, customer acquisition costs, churn).
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities, challenges, and progress.
  • Project & Program Management
    • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
    • Develop and maintain project documentation, scope, and stakeholder communications.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
    • Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and industry-specific requirements (e.g., data protection regulations).
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, partners, clients).
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost and quality of services.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • If applicable, mentor and manage direct reports or cross-functional teams.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Market & Industry Awareness
    • Stay updated on SaaS market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
    • Use insights to inform strategic decisions and refine business processes.

Competencies

  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s/MBA is preferred).
  • Relevant Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or general management, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
    • Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and driving business growth.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking
    • Ability to interpret complex data, derive actionable insights, and align operational plans with strategic objectives.
    • Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, and understanding SaaS metrics (ARR, LTV, CAC, churn, etc.).
  • Operational Excellence
    • Experience in process improvement, resource allocation, and project management.
    • Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
    • Excellent collaboration skills to align diverse groups around common goals.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities for stakeholder updates and executive reporting.
    • Comfortable presenting to C-level executives and external partners.

    • Proactive approach to identifying challenges, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technological Savvy
    • Proficiency with business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
    • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and other SaaS platforms is advantageous.
